We are currently seeking a dedicated Delivery and Installation Specialist to join our dynamic team.
Job Summary: As a Delivery and Installation Specialist, you will be the face of Fitness Avenue, delivering and installing fitness equipment to our diverse client base. Your role is crucial in ensuring the safe, timely, and efficient delivery and setup of our products, providing an exceptional experience to our customers
.Responsibilities: Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages to customers in a timely manner Load and unload packages from the vehicle using proper lifting techniques Follow delivery routes and schedules to ensure on-time deliveries Install and assemble various types of fitness equipment Conduct basic troubleshooting and provide on-site and off-site customer education Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including obtaining customer signatures and collecting payments when necessary Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the delivery vehicle Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, such as checking oil levels and tire pressure Other duties as assigned Requirements: College-level education in a technical field Valid DZ license with air brake endorsement and a clean driving record. Previous experience in commercial driving or delivery preferred Ability to lift heavy packages, over 70 pounds, on a regular basis Proven experience in building and installing complex products. Prior experience with fitness equipment is highly preferred Familiarity with warehouse operations, including loading and unloading procedures Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively Knowledge of forklift operation is a plus
