Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including cakes, pastries, and desserts
- Decorate cakes with professional techniques to meet customer specifications
- Handle food preparation tasks such as mixing, assembling, and packaging products
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist with food handling procedures to ensure freshness and quality of all items produced
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with product selections and inquiries
- Follow all food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures at all times
- Support the team with food packaging for retail or catering orders
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods
Qualifications
- Experience in cake decorating, baking, or food preparation within a restaurant or bakery setting preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Strong skills in cooking, baking, and food presentation
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Kitchen experience or background in the food industry is highly desirable
- Basic understanding of packaging processes for baked goods and desserts
