Landscape Foreman – Hardscaping (1 Position)
Muskoka & Surrounding Cottage Regions
About the Role
The Landscape Foreman leads hardscape construction projects from layout through completion. This role requires strong technical knowledge, steady leadership, and a hands-on approach. You’ll guide crews, coordinate materials and equipment, and ensure projects are built correctly, efficiently, and to NuScape standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily hardscape operations including patios, steps, retaining walls, and landscape features
- Read and interpret drawings, layouts, grades, and elevations
- Coordinate crew workflow, materials, and equipment
- Maintain jobsite safety, cleanliness, and organization
- Communicate clearly with project management and team members
- Ensure projects remain on schedule and within scope
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in hardscape or landscape construction
- Prior foreman or crew-lead experience preferred
- Strong understanding of base preparation, grading, and installation techniques
- Valid driver’s license (G or higher)
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions like rain, cold and snow.
Assets / Preferred Experience
- Cottage or estate-scale project experience
- Experience operating skid steers, mini excavators or compact equipment
- Ability to mentor and support crew development
