Over the past few months, Tavo has grown revenue by over 300%, and we’re now building out our sales and growth team to scale nationally.
The Role
We’re looking for a highly driven Sales Representative / Business Development Lead to help expand Tavo across youth sports organizations, clubs, coaches, academies, and teams.
This is not a passive account management role.
You’ll be actively reaching out to organizations every day, running demos, pitching coaches and directors, building relationships, attending tournaments/events, and helping close new partnerships and subscriptions.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys sports, technology, fast-paced startups, and high-volume relationship-driven sales.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and reach out to volleyball clubs, directors, coaches, and organizations
- Run product demos and onboarding calls
- Build relationships with key decision-makers in youth sports
- Convert inbound leads into paying customers
- Execute outbound outreach campaigns through email, phone, Instagram, and LinkedIn
- Attend tournaments, showcases, and sports events when needed
- Help improve sales messaging and feedback loops with the product team
- Maintain CRM pipelines and follow-ups
- Work closely with leadership on growth strategy
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of sales, business development, or account executive experience
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable speaking with coaches, parents, and sports organizations
- Self-starter mentality with strong ownership
- Organized and highly responsive
- Comfortable working in a startup environment
- Passion for sports, technology, or media is a major plus
Compensation
- Base salary: $50,000–$90,000 CAD
- Uncapped commission structure
- Performance bonuses available
