Key Responsibilities:
- Operate front-end loaders to move, load, and stockpile materials such as soil, aggregate, asphalt, and debris
- Perform daily equipment inspections (pre-start checks) and report any maintenance or safety issues
- Load trucks accurately and efficiently while preventing material spillage or contamination
- Assist with grading, backfilling, and site preparation activities as required
- Maintain proper communication with supervisors, truck drivers, and ground personnel
- Follow all site safety protocols, including working near live traffic or active construction zones
- Ensure equipment is operated in a safe and controlled manner at all times
- Support general labour tasks when equipment operation is not required
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience operating a front-end loader in a construction or similar environment
- Knowledge of construction site safety standards and procedures
- Ability to read site plans and follow grade stakes
- Strong hand-eye coordination and situational awareness
- Valid driver’s license
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 55 per week
