We’re seeking 2* temporary full-time Manufacturing Operators *to join our manufacturing team in Cochrane. This position is for approximately 3-6 months, with the possibility of an extension.

DEPARTMENT SUMMARY
- Provide customers with the best possible quality product and turnaround time
- Produce power meters to meet the demands of our customers (quality and quantity)
- Build and package subassemblies to support offsite production facilities
- Repair defective products, determine and record root causes to improve our products and processes
ROLE SUMMARY
The Manufacturing Operator is primarily responsible for assembling and installing high quality power meters, including gluing housings, applying drive side gauges and building subassemblies. This role also tests and calibrates the power meters. This position helps with RMA analysis when required. Ensuring units are fully functional and assembled correctly, and packaged properly before sending them to Shipping & Receiving is an important part of this role. Finally, a Manufacturing Operator ensures that all facets of quality are maintained throughout the assembly process by identifying potential issues and reporting them to the supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma
- Able to follow instructions, keep track of processes and remaining completely focussed on the task at hand
- Place a priority on upholding quality standards
- Ability to be organized and keep workspace tidy
- Proven manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination
- Effectively communicate with supervisor and coworkers
- Detail-oriented and meticulous
- Familiar with light hand tools and power tools
- Ability to work with a team
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
WORKING CONDITIONS AND ADDITIONAL DETAILS
- 4iiii is based in Cochrane, Alberta; working on-site at 4iiii location is required
- Ability to lift, push and pull up to 30 kg
- Overtime as required
- Standing or sitting for extended period of time
- Involves repetitive motions that can stress arms, back, shoulders and/or wrists
