Responsibilities
- Plan and implement engaging daily activities that promote cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development in young children.
- Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that respects diverse backgrounds and abilities.
- Monitor children’s progress and provide individualized support, especially for those with special needs or disabilities.
- Communicate effectively with families regarding their child's development, behavior, and milestones through regular updates and written reports.
- Collaborate with team members to develop educational plans aligned with early childhood education standards and best practices.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, developmental assessments, and incident reports using computer systems.
- Lead classroom activities with energy and leadership, fostering a positive atmosphere that encourages exploration and learning.
Qualifications
- Valid registration as a Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) or equivalent credential from a recognized early childhood education program.
- Proficiency in English
- Experience working with children from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, families, and team members.
- Nurture a growth attitude in educational practices and skills
- Ability to cooperate and work as a team with other staff members
- Interact with children with warmth sensitivity and care
- Knowledge of child development principles, early childhood education practices, and classroom management techniques
- Demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $23.00-$26.50 per hour
