Job Overview
The Customs Release Agent will be responsible for processing import shipments for release .
Liasing with carriers, clients and working with other government departments , verifying
documentation and ensuring compliance with customs laws and regulations .
Key responsibilites are to review incoming shipments documents and to determine import requirments .
Enter data into brokerage system (SWI , EDI Across , paper entries to CBSA for release.
Monitor / manage rejects , follow up on missing or incomplete documentation
Communicate with clients, carriers
Able to work independently , multi task
Qualifications, High school diploma or equivalent
Willing to train
Job type : Part Time , Permanent and willing to work various shifts when needed
Work location : In Person , not remote
Pay: $17.85-$19.00 per hour
