Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Worker to join our team. This role involves assisting with various construction projects, including site preparation, paving, and operating heavy equipment. Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation, including clearing and leveling land for construction projects
- Operate heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators, and bulldozers safely and effectively
- Perform paving tasks using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure quality results
- Support the installation of infrastructure components according to project specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite, adhering to safety standards at all times
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within scope
- Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) properly
Qualifications
- Prior experience in construction or related field is preferred but not required
- Ability to operate heavy machinery is a plus; training will be provided if needed
- Knowledge of paving techniques and construction processes is advantageous
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials or equipment as needed
- Excellent teamwork skills and a commitment to safety standards
- Valid driver’s license is preferred for transportation to job sites
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different construction tasks
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
