Salary: $22 to $24 hourly for 40 hours per week

What is the opportunity?
To join our team as a Shipping Administrator. You will be responsible for handling all paperwork and labeling for all shipments out of our CDN warehouse, including courier shipments, LTL shipments, and cross border documents. Our shipper is a key element of our business. When you are not fulfilling this role, you will be rotating as a Customer Experience Clerk and administrative assistant within our office.
What will you do?
· Data entry; entering/updating information into courier portals, creating BOL’s and customs documents, record lists of order numbers, responding to emails.
· Determine appropriate shipping method to ensure best rate is given.
· Meet tight deadlines to ensure on-time shipping.
· Organize and file all daily correspondence.
· Build and maintain exceptional rapport with customers and carriers.
· Provide resolutions for customers and carriers using critical thinking skills in a timely manner.
· Label boxes and skids throughout warehouse and process 500+ shipments per day.
· Identify and assess customer requests and needs while providing an exceptional customer experience.
· Run and edit reports.
· Work in collaboration with Warehouse and Customer Service teams to deliver accuracy.
· Answer a high volume of calls and demonstrate ability to prioritize.
To be successful in this role, you must have:

· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail and grammar.
· Experience navigating multiple requests by phone, email, Skype and in person.
· Effective time management skills with proven ability to prioritize and adapt to change.
· Displays a high level of integrity and patience, taking ownership for successes and failures.
· Extended periods of standing, walking, sitting.
· Strong customer service skills and telephone mannerisms.
· High level of proficiency using MS Suites, particularly Outlook and Excel.
· A self-starter who thinks “outside the box” and has a problem-solving mind set.
· A background of experience in Shipping/Manufacturing.
· A background of Customer Service would be considered an asset.
