A Division of Total Energy Services Inc., Opsco Process Corp. is a Calgary based professional contractor for design, drafting and fabrication of custom made structural and processing equipment for the oil and gas industry and we currently have openings for full time Pipefitter with Shop Experience . Day and Night Positions Available.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Reporting to the Shop Foreman/Leadhand the duties of these positions include but are not limited to the following:
- Candidates required to have Alberta Steamfitters/Pipefitters Certification
- Comply with Quality and Safety standards
- Read and interpret drawings and procedure specifications
- Knowledge of welded, threaded and socket piping assembly required.
- This position is in the Assembly Department, as opposed to a Weld Fitting Position.
- Product line includes Separation, Dehydration, Heaters, Pump packages, Metering, as well as various other items.
- A strong background in both bench and on skid socket pipe fitting is necessary.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- The ability to work individually and in a team setting.
- Self-motivated individual, with attention to detail, takes pride in producing quality workmanship.
- Good time management and communication skills.
- Familiarity with packaged equipment is an asset.
- Hydro testing equipment to specification is an asset
- Only candidates with experience in line with Opsco’s product line will be considered.
