Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate machinery such as skid steers with blades, plow trucks, and loaders to clear snow from assigned sites.
- Monitor Google Chat for dispatch callouts and maintain punctuality and reliability during on-call periods.
- Work extended night shifts, typically from 10:00 PM to 10:00 AM, in extreme cold and adverse weather conditions.
- Conduct basic equipment inspections, utilize Fleetio for tracking, and perform routine greasing to maintain machinery.
- Complete Field Level Hazard Assessments (FLHAs) to actively protect yourself, your crew, and the site.
What You Bring to the Crew
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation to reach job sites independently.
- Physical stamina to endure cold weather, lift moderate to heavy loads, and manage long shifts.
- Equipment operation experience, ranging from a minimum of 50 hours for entry-level roles up to 3 seasons for advanced positions.
