Specific Position Duties
The successful candidate will demonstrate:

Strong knowledge of the Alberta curriculum and effective instructional practices for early elementary learners.
- The ability to deliver engaging, student-centered literacy and numeracy instruction that supports diverse learning needs.
- Effective classroom management skills that promote student engagement, responsibility, and independence.
- The ability to differentiate instruction and provide appropriate supports and extensions for a range of learners.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with students, parents, colleagues, and community members.
- A collaborative approach to working with school staff, educational assistants, learning support teams, and families.
