Green Blade Lawn Care is Manitoba's largest lawn care company and we are growing continuously. We are based in Manitoba with an additional location in Calgary, Alberta. All office operations are based in Winnipeg. We service 9 cities and 10 major towns in Western Canada. We service thousands of customers providing fertilizer and weed control, weekly grass cutting, aeration, top dressing, and snow clearing. We have a fleet of over 80 trucks and seasonal summer staff of up to 100 staff at our peak.
Our family also owns several other growing and exciting businesses that provide opportunity for additional involvement. This is a VERY secure job with guaranteed full-time hours.
Our office is currently staffed by several full-time staff plus management and shop personnel, several of whom have been with us for many years.
Both our Manitoba and Alberta businesses are booming. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our Winnipeg office team and grow with our family.

We all work very closely and collaboratively with each other and develop a very close sense of family in our office. Part of our interview process includes a secondary meeting with our office staff. While the starting wage is $20/hr, we do offer meaningful raises as quickly as our staff illustrate commitment and application of skill and we also offer bonuses and an excellent benefits plan. Current staff earn over $50k per year plus bonuses within just one year of employment.

Duties will initially include:
Maintaining a tidy office environment.
Producing invoices and receipts.
Data entry.
Directly reporting to management.
Answering inbound calls and making sales.
Seasonal outbound calling to existing clients (no cold calling).
Preparing bank deposits.
Processing credit card transactions.
Being comfortable on the phone is an absolute must and a positive attitude is vital.
You must have your own vehicle to get to our office. There are no bus routes to our office which is located in southwest Winnipeg off McGillivray Blvd. All training will be provided. The owners and managers of the company are ALWAYS available to assist in all matters. Business is booming and we need more staff. We are busy year-round with spring/summer being only slightly busier than the rest of the year. We have a casual, open office environment. All office staff and management share the same open office area. Attire is casual. Wage increases will accompany experience and performance. As part of our interview process, you will have an opportunity to meet, speak to, and ask questions of our existing staff. This is how certain we are of our amazing family office team. A comprehensive benefits plan including dental and eye care is included, taking effect after the first 6 months of employment. A retirement savings plan is also offered after 2 years of service.
Pay is provided weekly.
You must be VERY comfortable on the phone and entering data as these two components will comprise the most significant portion of your job. We are looking for a long term employee to join our growing company.
