Richmond Packaging is a premium manufacturer of consumable packaging with high graphic designs. We are a national company with large clients in many different industries in California, Oregon, Washington and Western Canada. Richmond Packaging was established in 1982 and we have been enjoying a steady and aggressive growth over last several years.
· Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline to increase Richmond Packaging’s market share in the flexible packaging industry.
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, outreach, and travel when required.
- Expand and enhance opportunities within existing accounts to drive growth and improve long-term customer value.
- Build and maintain positive professional relationships with clients at all levels.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, addressing inquiries and providing timely solutions.
- Create and grow reference customers to support future sales initiatives.
- Develop, execute, and oversee business development strategies aligned with company growth objectives.
- Conduct market and industry research to identify trends, competitors, and emerging opportunities.
- Promote Richmond Packaging’s products and services to prospective clients through presentations, meetings, and industry engagement.
- Sell complex packaging solutions through consultative and strategic engagement.
- Support new sales leads and provide value-added insights to increase the likelihood of customer acquisition.
- Monitor sales progress to ensure targets and corporate goals are being met.
- Provide continuous and constructive feedback to inside/outside sales representatives.
- Collaborate with internal departments (Production, QC, Customer Service) to ensure flawless execution of customer deliverables.
- Participate in planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives aimed at driving brand awareness and lead generation.
· Knowledge and Skills:
· Is considered skilled in flexible packaging products, solutions, and service offerings as well as competitor's offerings to be able to acquire a scalable size of new business.
· Uses expertise specialty and business development skills to align the client's business needs with a solution.
· Develop knowledge of new business leads, organizational structure, business processes, and financial structure.
· Demonstrates leadership and initiative in successfully self manage the new lead list and develop its process from cold-calling-to-client acquisition.
· Excellent project management skills.
· Maintain knowledge of industry trends, associated solutions, and key partner solutions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
