Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various massage techniques and be dedicated to providing exceptional care to clients. This role involves assessing client needs, developing personalized treatment plans, and delivering high-quality massage therapy services in a serene and professional environment.
Must be available to work on weekdays, during morning/evening shifts, and on weekends as required. As the owner and a fellow RMT with 24 years of experience, I am devoted to collaborating with like-minded new RMTs. We firmly believe that through teamwork, we can better support and assist our patients. The partnership between our therapists and patients has been integral to the success of our clinic.

Duties and Responsibilities:
A Massage Therapist is responsible for helping patients recover from injuries or deal with chronic pain. Some of the main duties and responsibilities a Massage Therapist will likely include:
- Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their health history and specific needs.
- Knead and massage muscles and soft tissue
- Assess the root cause of pain
- Create customized treatment plans based on individual client goals and preferences.
- Utilize a wide range of manipulation techniques to reduce pain
- Keep excellent records of patient health and treatment options
- Explain the causes of pain to each patient clearly and properly explain how to complete strengthening exercises at home
- Increase a patient’s range of motion
- Promote relaxation for clients to ensure the maximum benefit of the massage
- Perform a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and therapeutic massages.
- Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments as necessary.

Skills
- Valid license from CMTO is required
- Proficiency in various massage techniques and modalities.

- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and contraindications for various conditions is essential.
