Position Overview:
We’re looking for a friendly, knowledgeable, and motivated Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate has a flair for customer service, an interest in home improvement or design, and a willingness to learn about our products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assess their needs in a professional, helpful manner
- Provide expert product advice, including paint types, finishes, and application techniques
- Mix and tint paint to match customer requirements
- Maintain product displays, inventory levels, and a clean store environment
- Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system
- Support merchandising and store promotions
- Assist with stocking shelves and organizing backroom inventory
Qualifications
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 65 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Interest or experience in paint, hardware, or home improvement is a plus
