Job Summary
This is an Independent Contractor Position. We are seeking for talented and innovative Registered Architect to join our team. As a Registered Architect, you will be working mostly on Tenant Improvements project in the Province of Alberta
Responsibilities
- Develop and present architectural designs that meet client specifications and project requirements.
- Supervise the drafting team and collaborate on preparing quotes.
- Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather information for design development.
- Collaborate with engineers, interior designers, and other professionals throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, zoning laws, and safety regulations.
- Prepare documentation for development and building permits and other necessary approvals.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, technologies, and best practices in architecture.
Requirements
- Degree in Architecture
- Registered in the Province of Alberta
- Proficiency in architectural design software including Revit and AutoCAD.
- Strong drafting skills with attention to detail in creating accurate plans.
- Excellent negotiation skills to manage client expectations effectively.
- Ability to sketch ideas quickly for conceptual discussions.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a creative mindset for innovative design solutions.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients alike.
- 3 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Freelance
Pay: $100,800.00 per year
