Operations Manager
Metrotown Floors + Interiors has been a trusted name in flooring, cabinetry, and interiors for over 20 years. We work closely with restoration companies, property managers,general contractors and Retail clients, and pride ourselves on delivering professional, timely, and high-quality service.
We are looking for an Operations Manager to join our leadership team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on organization, fairness, and technology-driven efficiency — someone who can run the office day-to-day while the owner focuses on growing the business.

Our team is busy and growing. We need an Operations Manager who can:
- Stay at the office full-time as a central point of leadership.
- Ensure all employees have clear responsibilities and balanced workloads.
- Oversee bookkeeping accuracy and improve accountability across departments.
- Implement systems and technology to streamline workflow and communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Workflow & Job Distribution
- Monitor workloads and assign tasks fairly across project managers, coordinators, and admin staff.
- Balance installer scheduling and ensure efficient use of manpower.
- Ensure no employee is overloaded or underutilized.
- Office & Staff Oversight
- Be the daily presence in the office, acting as the “go-to” manager for staff.
- Supervise admin and bookkeeping to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
- Conduct weekly check-ins with staff to maintain alignment.
- Technology & Systems
- Drive adoption of company software (Pacific Solutions, BrightHR, etc.).
- Improve reporting and tracking (workload, job progress, cycle times).
- Identify automation opportunities to reduce manual errors and wasted effort.
- Communication & Leadership
- Serve as the link between staff and ownership.
- Resolve issues proactively before they reach the owner.
- Support a positive, accountable, and efficient work culture.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in operations or office management, ideally in construction, restoration, or related industries.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to balance workloads fairly.
- Tech-savvy and adaptable, with experience implementing software tools.
- Detail-oriented with solid financial/administrative oversight skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with diverse teams.

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
