Join our dynamic team as a Payroll/Bookkeeper and become a vital part of our operations! In this energetic role, you'll manage accurate payroll processing, preform all bookkeeping functions, and ensure our financial records are precise and up-to-date. Your expertise will help us maintain smooth financial workflows, and uphold compliance standards . To qualify for this position the individual should be well versed with accounts payable, account receivables, GL transactions and bank reconciliation.
Duties
- Process bi-weekly payroll using accounting software Sage and Excel.
- Verify and match vendor invoices prior to entering into the accounting software.
- Manage accounts payable
- Monitoring daily bank balances and month end bank reconciliation.
- Prepare Bank Deposits
- Maintain and update vendor accounts
- Prepare Monthly HST and Source Deductions Remittance
- Balance the Sub Ledger to the General Ledger
- Maintain precise bookkeeping records, including ledger entries and transaction documentation
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Communicate with vendors
Requirements
- Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage,
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes
- Familiarity with payroll processing and related compliance standards
- Ability to perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation efficiently
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Basic understanding of budgeting and financial analysis techniques
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with vendors and employees

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
