Hours
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1‑hour unpaid lunch)
- Seasonal overtime and on call as required
About the Role
As a Parts Technician at Alberta AG Centre, you build and maintain the connection between our customers, suppliers, and service teams. You bring parts knowledge, customer focus, and attention to detail to a fast-paced dealership environment where accuracy matters with a positive, collaborative approach.
What You’ll Do
- Provide exceptional service to internal (Sales, Service) and external customers
- Research parts availability through facility inventory and external sources
- Look up parts and part numbers for customer equipment
- Mark and allocate parts for service work orders and over-the-counter customers
- Prepare quotes, verify pricing, and coordinate delivery timelines
- Complete work orders, purchase orders, receipts, and stock placement
- Maintain active communication with Shipping/Receiving, suppliers, and customers
- Participate in cycle counts and support other parts staff as needed
- Provide on-call coverage as part of a shared rotation; occasional travel to local branches, including overnight stays, is required
- The responsibilities listed above reflect core expectations but do not limit the employee from performing other tasks as assigned to support team and business objectives.
Physical Requirements
- Standing or walking for extended periods (8+ hours)
- Bending, kneeling, squatting, reaching, and twisting as part of regular duties
- Climbing ladders and working at height in a warehouse/parts environment
- Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs (23 kg)
Qualifications & Skills
Required
- Valid driver's license
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Mechanical aptitude or hands-on experience with agricultural equipment
- Ability to research technical parts information using computer-based systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and a reliable, team-oriented work ethic
Preferred
- Journeyperson Parts Technician Certificate
- 3–5 years of agricultural parts experience
- Experience with CDK IntelliDealer
- Forklift certification or experience

Ability to commute/relocate:
- High River, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Education:
- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
Experience:
- Parts Related: 1 year (preferred)
- Agriculture: 1 year (preferred)
