THE JOB:
Inspects, diagnoses, and repairs vehicle suspension, steering, and braking systems to ensure optimal handling and tire longevity
Utilize computerized alignment machines and specialized tools to adjust alignment angles (camber, caster, and toe) to exact manufacturer specifications.
Core Responsibilities
- Diagnosis & Inspection: Test-drive vehicles and use computerized diagnostic equipment to identify faulty steering, bent struts, worn ball joints, or uneven tire wear.
- Repairs: Replace or repair damaged steering, suspension, and braking parts as dictated by inspection findings.
- Quality Control: Re-secure all related parts and conduct a final post-alignment test drive.
- Customer & Team Communication: Report worn or dangerous parts to service advisors, clearly explain alignment issues to customers, and accurately document all repairs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Demonstrated proficiency in written/oral communication in the English language
2. Minimum 2 years’ experience in alignment
3. Specific Experience with the Hunter Hawkeye Elite or similar
4. Ability to lift heavy tires/equipment and stand for prolonged periods in a busy, auto shop environment

- Organization: Ability to handle high volumes of work and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

- Tech Proficiency: Comfort with industry-specific tools
