Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the dental team by providing exceptional patient care, assisting with procedures, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. We are open to chairside dental assistants (radiography module would be an asset) or certified dental assistants.
DAYS: Wednesday, Saturday
LANGUAGE: Ability to speak Tagalog would be preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with safety protocols
- Assist dentists during various procedures of general dentistry
- Take digital dental radiographs
- Manage patient records accurately using Abeldent dental software
- Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures and post-treatment instructions
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean clinical environment
Experience
- Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred but not required; certification is a plus especially radiography module. We are willing to train the right person.
- Knowledge of dental terminology will enhance your effectiveness in this role
- Prior experience in customer service roles would be beneficial if no experience in dental assisting
- Strong communication skills, motivation to work independently, and the ability to work well within a team are essential for success in this position
Pay: $22.00-$35.00 per hour
