We are seeking a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Office Administrator to support our daily operations and contribute to the success of our growing team.
Position Summary
The Office Administrator is responsible for managing the day-to-day administrative and clerical functions of the fish processing plant. This role serves as the primary point of contact for administrative matters and provides support to management and plant staff. The successful candidate will help maintain efficient office operations, accurate records, and effective communication across all departments.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support
- Manage daily office operations and ensure efficient workflow.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls, emails, and visitor inquiries.
- Prepare, type, proofread, and distribute correspondence, reports, and other business documents.
- Maintain electronic and paper filing systems in an organized and confidential manner.
- Schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements as required.
- Assist management with special projects and administrative tasks.
- Other duties as required
Qualifications
Required
- 3+ years of administrative experience.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred
- Diploma or certificate in Office Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in a manufacturing, seafood processing, food processing, or industrial environment.
