Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service throughout their shopping journey
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges
- Handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and perform cash handling duties with precision
- Conduct product demos when needed to inform customers about features and benefits
- Assist with merchandising efforts by organizing products on shelves and displays
- Upsell additional products or services to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area to ensure a welcoming environment
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding stock levels, customer requests, or issues
- Demonstrate strong time management skills to manage multiple transactions efficiently during busy periods
Experience
- Previous retail sales or cashier experience preferred, especially in technology or electronics environments
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly valued for serving diverse customer bases
- Experience with POS systems and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing
- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening
- Familiarity with merchandising, product demos, upselling techniques, and customer service best practices
- Technical sales experience or knowledge of products can be an asset in explaining features to customers
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting
