Fen Industrial is looking for a motivated, experienced individual to help grow our Industrial Rigging & Decommissioning division.
This is not a desk job. We're looking for someone who can identify opportunities, build relationships, visit customer facilities, quote projects, manage jobs, and help drive the continued growth of the company.
We need someone who is ready to grab the bull by the horns and run with it.
The successful candidate will play a key role in developing new business opportunities while also assisting in planning and managing projects from start to finish.
Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities within manufacturing and industrial facilities.
- Develop relationships with plant managers, maintenance managers, engineers, and business owners.
- Identify upcoming machinery moves, plant relocations, facility closures, decommissioning projects, and surplus equipment opportunities.
- Conduct site visits and project assessments.
- Prepare project scopes, estimates, and quotations.
- Follow up on opportunities and close new business.
- Coordinate and manage projects from award through completion.
- Work closely with field crews, customers, and management to ensure successful project execution.
- Represent Fen Industrial professionally and safely at all customer locations.
Qualifications Required
- Previous industrial rigging experience.
- Valid Class G driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Forklift certification.
- Working at Heights certification.
- Strong understanding of industrial equipment, machinery, and manufacturing environments.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Willingness to travel throughout Ontario as required.
Preferred
- Experience with machinery moving and plant relocations.
- Millwright, maintenance, or industrial construction background.
- Previous project management experience.
- Existing network of industrial contacts.
- Experience preparing quotes and managing customer relationships.
Compensation
- Base salary.
