Overview
We are seeking a skilled Licensed Plumber to join our professional team. Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in commercial and residential buildings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan work effectively
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other construction tools to complete tasks efficiently
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely during installation or repair projects
- Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues before they become major problems
- Collaborate with team members including carpenters, HVAC technicians, and construction workers to coordinate project efforts
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety regulations
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems, HVAC units, and general construction practices
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics reading
- Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations necessary for installations or repairs
- Experience with carpentry skills relevant to plumbing installations or modifications
- Knowledge of heavy lifting techniques for handling large pipes or equipment safely
- Familiarity with commercial driving preferred for transporting materials or equipment between sites
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently on-site
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
