Responsibilities:
- Counsel students regarding educational, career or vocational issues
- Meet regularly with the students to review how the program is going, is the College meeting their needs, or if something could be improved upon.
- Providing guidance and advice to applicants regarding program options, requirements, and available resources. This might involve discussing academic or career goals and how they align with the institution's offerings.
- Provide guidance and information to assist with any challenges or issues.
- Collecting, reviewing, and processing applications or admission forms. This involves ensuring that all required documents are submitted and complete.
- Initiate and provide ongoing guidance to students.
- Offering support to admitted individuals, addressing their queries, and helping them transition smoothly into the institution or facility.
- Encourage and support students as they gain the skills and knowledge necessary for success.
- Provide a trusting environment where students can share their thoughts, aspirations, concerns, and interests.
- Assist students in developing an educational plan and strategies to improve student success.
- Co-ordinate the provision of counselling and information services to students, parents and teachers
- Refer students to other specialized services when required.
- Participate in staff meetings, educational conferences and workshops.
- Develop guidance and counselling programs.
- Supervise field experience for graduate students in clinical and counselling areas.
- Guiding accepted applicants through the enrollment process, which may involve registration, orientation, and other related tasks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
- Experience working in immigration firm or in an educational setting is an asset.

Pay: $39,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
