Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. Duties
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks and Black Purl for daily bookkeeping and financial transactions.
- Perform data entry with high accuracy to maintain up-to-date financial records.
- Conduct account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in payroll processing
- Analyze accounts to identify trends or irregularities that may impact financial reporting.
- Support budgeting activities by preparing reports and assisting with financial planning.
- Generate detailed account analysis reports for management review.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory standards related to financial services.
Requirements
- Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles including accounts payable/receivable and account reconciliation.
- Proficiency in data entry with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to perform account analysis and support budgeting processes effectively.
- Basic math skills necessary for accurate financial calculations and reporting.
- Experience working within a finance or accounting department in a professional setting.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
