Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Loader Operator to join our construction and heavy equipment team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of heavy machinery, including loaders, excavators, and dozers. This role involves supporting construction projects by efficiently handling materials and ensuring safety standards are maintained on-site. Candidates with strong mechanical knowledge and a background in construction or heavy equipment operation are highly preferred.
Duties
- Operate a loader with various attachments. Forks, sweeper, picker
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on heavy equipment to ensure optimal functioning.
- Support site safety protocols by identifying potential hazards and maintaining a clean work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within specifications.
- Drive commercial vehicles when required for transporting equipment or materials between sites.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance activities.
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience
- Proven experience operating heavy machinery such as loaders with attachments
- Use of forks, sweepers and other attachments
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Caterpillar equipment and other major brands is a plus.
- Experience in construction or related fields involving heavy equipment operation.
- Ability to work safely in a dynamic environment while adhering to all safety regulations.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
Pay: $33.00-$39.00 per hour
