Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, engaging with customers, and ensuring a high standard of food safety and cleanliness. Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently.
- Engage with guests in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service throughout their visit.
- Use POS systems, billing, and cash handling.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and responsible alcohol service policies.
- Manage cash transactions accurately, including handling tips and providing correct change.
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts.
- Assist in serving food when required, supporting overall restaurant operations.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple guests promptly.
- Uphold hospitality standards by creating an inviting environment for all patrons.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in restaurant or food industry settings is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and tallying orders accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours.
- Ability to serve alcohol responsibly in accordance with legal requirements.
- Experience in cashiering or food service roles is a plus.
