Are you a skilled Journeyman Electrician with a passion for troubleshooting, problem-solving, and maintaining complex industrial equipment? Join our manufacturing team and play a key role in ensuring production systems operate safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.
In this hands-on role, you'll perform electrical testing, diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and repairs on production equipment, control systems, motors, PLCs, and facility infrastructure while supporting continuous manufacturing operations.
Afternoon Shift 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm - Monday to Friday
As a Journeyman Electrician, you will be accountable to:
- Perform electrical testing and troubleshooting on HVAC systems to identify and resolve issues promptly.· Inspect and maintain electrical components, including motors, control panels, sensors, and wiring.
- Diagnose and repair complex electrical problems using diagnostic tools, multimeters, and PLC programming.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and implement energy-efficient HVAC control strategies.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Document maintenance and repair activities accurately for record-keeping purposes.· Train and mentor junior technicians in electrical testing procedures and safety protocols.
- Respond to emergency service calls to address critical electrical issues in a timely manner.
- Install, replace, repair and test electrical circuits and equipment such as electrical controls, join and connect wires, test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults integrity of circuits, troubleshoot and isolate faults..
- Electrical troubleshooting knowledge diagnose control and hardware malfunctions. Highly organized, detail orientated, and an ability to multi-task.
- Assist and/or direct interpreting drawings, circuit diagrams, and electrical code specifications to better help execute electrical installation and troubleshooting.
- QA/QC testing and documentation. Willingness to provide guidance and training to electrical apprentices.
- The incumbent must be physically fit in order to climb ladders and work at heights. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

- Availability for overtime on weekdays/weekends when required
- Required Education & Qualifications
- 2 years of experience as an HVAC Electrical Technician or a related role
- Proficiency in electrical testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of HVAC systems.
- Knowledge of PLC systems, electrical components, and safety protocols.
- Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to work independently to identify and resolve electrical issues.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Pay: $40.00-$44.00 per hour
