Project Manager – Structural Steel Construction
Our client is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead complex structural-steel projects from planning through to completion. You will provide strategic direction to multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure compliance with Canadian building codes, CSA standards, and OH&S regulations.

Responsibilities
- Develop and manage site work schedules.
- Prepare and track project budgets, manage costs, and align resource allocation with project needs.
- Oversee contract administration and manage relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Lead client meetings to address issues, manage design changes, and align projects with client expectations.
- Mentor and support your team to create a high-performing work environment.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with approved design specifications and standards.
- Prepare and submit progress claims and invoices.
- Coordinate with engineers and designers to resolve technical challenges and ensure project success.
- Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience managing large civil or structural-steel projects.
- Degree/diploma in Civil Engineering, Business, or similar field (or a combination of education and experience).
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Gold Seal certification an asset.
- Proficiency in Excel, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and BIM/3D model coordination (Tekla, Revit, or similar).
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with Canadian building codes, CSA standards, and OH&S regulations.
