The Municipal Group of Companies, based in Bedford, Nova Scotia, is a large, diversified organization engaged in all major aspects of heavy civil construction, mining, transportation, and environmental services throughout the Atlantic Provinces. We are currently seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to join our team within our Asphalt Plant Division based out of Lower Sackville, NS.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Open and close work orders
-
Reconciling invoices and packing slips.

Process packing slips
-
Work closely with Maintenance Planners & Storeroom Clerk to assist them when needed
-
Adheres to purchasing policies, procedures, regulations, and laws
-
Maintain in-house filing system for Equipment Maintenance Records
-
Assist with storeroom organization, parts runs and inventory counts
-
Data entry
-
Other duties as assigned.

Good communication skills, both verbal and written

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
-
Indoor and outdoor activity required in a maintenance environment (PPE required)

A working knowledge of MS Office software, MS Outlook, MS Word, Excel.

Strong organizational skills

The ability to learn quickly and be adaptable to change

The ability to prioritize and organize (be able to multi-task)

The ability to work independently or as part of a team.
