Bizi Transport supports oil & gas and industrial operations across Western Canada. We run a diverse fleet hauling sand, sulphur, chemical, and cryogenic products, and we maintain everything in-house. We have locations in Blackfalds, Edmonton, and Grande Prairie.
Our shops play a key role in keeping trucks on the road and work moving.
About the Role
We’re looking for a dependable, hands-on mechanic for our new Grande Prairie shop.
This is a working role - diagnosing issues, turning wrenches, and keeping equipment moving. No fluff, just solid shop work.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Service and repair of tractors and trailers
- Preventative maintenance
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues
- Working with drivers to understand concerns
- Completing repairs and rebuilds as needed
- Ensuring equipment is safe and road-ready
- Keeping accurate work orders
- Maintaining shop organization and cleanliness
- Ordering parts when required
- Helping to shape the culture at our newest location
What We’re Looking For
- 2nd Year to Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic
- CVIP is a strong asset
- Valid Class 5 with clean abstract
- Able to work independently and figure things out
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Comfortable in a busy, working shop environment
- Willing to follow safety standards
- Able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
