We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen operations and deliver authentic Indian cuisine of the highest quality. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of Indian cooking techniques, and the ability to manage a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all kitchen operations.
- Plan, develop, and execute authentic Indian menus and special dishes.
- Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all food items.
- Train, mentor, and manage kitchen staff.
- Monitor food costs, inventory, and supplier orders.
- Maintain food safety, sanitation, and health standards.
- Create new recipes and seasonal menu offerings.
- Coordinate with management to improve kitchen efficiency and profitability.
- Ensure timely food preparation during peak service hours.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Head Chef, Sous Chef, or Senior Chef in an Indian restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of North Indian, South Indian, Tandoor, Curry, and Indo-Chinese cuisine.
- Experience managing kitchen staff and operations.
- Knowledge of food costing, inventory management, and menu planning.
- Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume environment.
- Food Handler Certification preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Pay: $38,749.00-$85,945.31 per year
