Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tire and Lube Technician to join our automotive service team. This role involves performing routine maintenance, and tire services to ensure customer vehicles are safe and operating efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Minimum 3-5 years experience is a must.
Duties
- Perform tire rotations, replacements, balancing, and repairs with precision and attention to safety standards
- Conduct oil changes, fluid top-offs, and other routine maintenance services using hand tools and power tools
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and communicate findings effectively to service technicians or management
- Perform minor repairs on certain areas of customer vehicles such as air & cabin air filter replacement, heat shields, under vehicle covers, and wheel studs
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service bay and work area
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and recommending additional maintenance when appropriate
- Support sales efforts by informing customers about recommended services and products
Qualifications
- Previous dealership experience or mechanic background is highly desirable
- Mechanical knowledge of automotive systems, tools, and maintenance procedures
- Experience working with hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair equipment
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) regularly throughout the shift
- Good customer service skills with a professional attitude
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment while maintaining high safety standards
- Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance procedures; willingness to learn new skills as needed
Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour
