Pilot Truck & Escort Vehicle Driver
Role Summary
We are hiring a Pilot Truck Driver to support safe transportation between the Terrace region and a remote industrial site. This position is well‑suited for someone who is confident in northern driving conditions, can stay calm during unexpected situations, and values being part of a coordinated, safety‑focused team.
In this role, you’ll guide buses, monitor conditions, and help ensure workers travel safely to and from the site.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Escort company buses along the route between Terrace and the worksite
- Assess and respond to changing road, weather, and visibility conditions
- Take control of roadside situations during delays, breakdowns, or incidents
- Assist with luggage handling when needed
- Perform basic mechanical checks and identify minor issues
- Maintain steady communication with bus drivers, dispatch, and operations
- Follow all company safety procedures and regulatory requirements
- Provide respectful, professional service to passengers and staff
What You Bring
- Minimum Class 4 licence with a clean abstract
- Strong familiarity with local routes, terrain, and seasonal conditions
- Experience managing roadside scenes or dynamic driving environments
- Mechanical awareness and ability to troubleshoot minor issues
- Current First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift and move luggage
- Clear communication skills and sound judgment
- Flagging or pilot certification is an asset
- Experience in transportation, pilot operations, or northern driving is an advantage

Pay: $360.00-$400.00 per day
