JOB SUMMARY
-
Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager, the Inventory & Returns Associate is responsible for managing the
-
cycle count program, defective mill returns, and various inventory-related issues. This role also maintains the
-
database for product returns and exchanges and oversees the organization of low-bay picking bins. In addition, the
-
Inventory & Returns Associate ensures the correct garments are stored in the appropriate bins while maintaining a
-
high level of inventory accuracy and integrity throughout the facility. This is achieved through daily cycle counts and
-
accurate reconciliation of high-bay and low-bay inventory counts.
Required Qualifications & Experience
-
Post-secondary education in Inventory Management, Purchasing, or a related field is considered an asset
-
Previous experience in warehouse operations and inventory control
-
Working knowledge of the internal PICK system
-
Proficient in spreadsheet and word processing applications
-
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
-
Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and inventory integrity
-
Ability to quickly and accurately count inventory
-
Ability to identify picking locations, products, sizes, and colours accurately
-
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
-
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
Working Conditions
-
40 hours per week; occasional overtime required
-
Able to perform continuous lifting up to 50lbs
-
Continuous bending, lifting, sitting, standing, pulling and stretching required
-
Must wear CSA-approved steel-toe safety footwear and any other required personal protective equipment (PPE)
Responsibilities
-
Coordinate and perform physical inventories, cycle counts, random audits, and reconciliations
-
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner
-
Conduct inventory slotting analysis and coordinate physical inventory relocations as required
-
Verify inventory accuracy, including product quality, quantity, size, and colour
-
Ensure all inventory documentation and system transactions are accurate and complete
-
Process and adjust defective inventory resulting from warehouse activities
-
Distribute cycle count documentation for secondary counts
-
Replenish picking bins by transferring product from replenishment areas to designated bin locations
-
Maintain properly stocked bins while ensuring products are safely and efficiently accessible to order pickers
-
Monitor bin conditions to ensure products are stored neatly, securely, and within designated capacity limits
-
Support receiving operations and other warehouse functions as required
-
Maintain clean, organized, and safe picking aisles and work areas
-
Identify and report incorrect or mixed product locations to the appropriate team for correction
-
Repair, replace, and relabel bins and storage locations as required
-
Monitor inventory levels of unused bins and labels; notify the Supervisor or Warehouse Administrator when
-
supplies require replenishment
-
Ensure products are neatly folded, packed, and stored in appropriate cartons or bags
-
Maintain and adjust auto-restock bin quantities as required to support operational efficiency
-
Maintain thorough knowledge of company products, including product identification, sizing, colours, and
-
inventory locations, to ensure operational accuracy and efficiency
-
Maintain good housekeeping standards in general work area
-
Adhere to current and future company policies and standards to ensure a safe and agreeable working
-

Assist in other areas of the Warehouse department and additional duties as required by management
