Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport products to designated locations
- Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or manual handling techniques
- Ensure accurate delivery of items, verifying orders against delivery manifests
- Maintain proper documentation of deliveries and pickups
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules or issues
- Assist with warehouse organization and inventory management as needed
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during deliveries
- Handle heavy lifting and moving tasks efficiently while maintaining safety standards
Skills
- Experience in warehouse operations and commercial driving preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks safely
- Proficiency in operating forklifts is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Strong communication skills for clear interaction with clients and team members
- Knowledge of local routes and navigation tools for efficient deliveries
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good physical condition to handle long periods of driving and manual handling tasks
Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
