Job Overview: We are seeking a reliable and skilled Property Maintenance Technician to join our team. They will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance, repair, and installation tasks across residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate should be highly organized, possess strong problem-solving abilities, and have a broad range of technical skills.
Key Responsibilities includes, but are not limited too:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including painting, carpentry, minor plumbing work and minor mechanical repairs on vehicles.
- Providing property maintenance services for various locations throughout Orléans.
- Repair and install fixtures, appliances, and equipment.
- Maintain the exterior grounds of various properties, including tasks such as lawn mowing, trimming and general landscaping.
- Snow removal: Tractor Operations, Shoveling, etc. (flexible hours during winter)
- Conduct inspections to identify issues and determine appropriate solutions.
- Respond to maintenance requests and work orders in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Ad-Hoc Projects
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a handyperson or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in basic plumbing, mechanics and carpentry work.
- Ability to use hand and power tools effectively and safely.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Working Conditions:
