Job Description: Our client in the natural products distribution industry is seeking a Bilingual Inside Sales Customer Service Specialist to support existing customers, manage incoming inquiries, and ensure accurate, timely order processing. This role is essential in delivering exceptional customer service, strengthening customer relationships, and supporting overall sales growth.

Job Type: Temporary to Permanent contract
Shift Structure: Monday to Friday from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm
Compensation: $22.60 - $24.04 an hour based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls in a courteous, professional manner as the first point of contact for customers.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Communicate proactively with customers regarding order status, product availability, and alternatives for out‑of‑stock or discontinued items.
- Promote new products, specials, and bi‑monthly catalog offerings; encourage product trials and upsell opportunities.
- Support the outside sales team by sharing customer updates, issues, or follow‑up needs.
- Accurately process all customer orders received by phone, email, or fax.
- Confirm receipt of orders submitted electronically and clarify any discrepancies or missing information.
- Ensure all orders meet internal timelines and follow established SOPs for order entry and database maintenance.
- Monitor fill rates and communicate any concerns or adjustments as needed. Make outbound calls to potential customers and follow up on leads.
- Research, qualify, and document new sales opportunities.
- Maintain an up‑to‑date database of current and prospective customers.
- Stay informed about competing products, market trends, and customer needs.
- Coordinate special shipping requirements and communicate associated costs to customers and internal teams.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Must be fully bilingual in English and French (written and oral)
- Post‑secondary education or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
- Must have at least 3–5 years of inside sales or customer service experience
- Strong communication skills, both by phone and email.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Solution‑oriented mindset with strong problem‑solving skills.
- Positive team attitude and strong work ethic.
- Sales experience and general business acumen are considered an asset.
