We're looking for a Business Development & Operations Coordinator who is organized, proactive, enjoys building relationships, and wants to play an important role in our long-term success.

About the Role
This is a growth-focused position that combines business development, client relationship management, operations support, and project coordination.
You'll help generate new opportunities, support our clients throughout their experience with Welcome Home Construction, and assist our leadership team in keeping projects organized and moving forward.
No two days are exactly the same. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Be DoingBusiness Development
- Generate new business opportunities through proactive outreach and relationship building.
- Research potential opportunities and maintain organized lead lists.
- Schedule meetings and follow up consistently with prospective clients.
- Build long-term professional relationships.
- Help maintain a healthy and active sales pipeline.
Client Experience
- Act as the first point of contact for new client inquiries.
- Listen carefully to understand client goals and project ideas.
- Gather information and coordinate the transition to our estimating and project teams.
- Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the client journey.
Operations & Administration
- Maintain accurate CRM records and client communications.
- Assist with contracts, proposals, and change orders.
- Coordinate schedules, meetings, deliveries, and project documentation.
- Support small projects while assisting on larger commercial and residential projects.
- Maintain organized digital files using Google Workspace and internal systems.
- Prepare weekly activity and business development reports.
Marketing Support
- Assist with newsletters and client communications.
- Capture project photos and videos for marketing.
- Support social media content and company updates.

QualificationsRequired
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Comfortable using computers and Google Workspace.
- Valid Ontario driver's licence and reliable transportation.
Preferred
- Experience in business development, sales, customer service, administration, or project coordination.
- Experience working with CRM software.
- Experience creating social media or marketing content.
- Experience in construction, real estate, property management, hospitality, or a related industry is considered an asset.

- $50,000–$58,000 annually (based on experience)
