MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise the other workers, train new employees and offer them support
- Assign tasks and check the work the other employees did
- Report to Maintenance Manager any damages you are aware of or potential repairs that must be done
- Plan and organize the repairs and installation of new machinery
- Replace and adjust the wearable parts as needed
- Replace defective parts of machine or adjust clearances and alignment of moving parts
- Align machines and equipment, using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers, and forklifts
- Test unit to evaluate its mechanical operation
- Assemble and install equipment, using hand tools and power tools
- Assemble and install equipment, bolt, weld, rivet, or otherwise fasten them to foundation or other structures, using hand tools and power tools
- Level bedplate and establish centerline, using straightedge, levels, and transit
- Dismantle machines, using hammers, wrenches, crowbars, and other hand tools
- Construct foundation for machines, using hand tools and building materials such as wood, cement, and steel
- Operate lathe to grind, file, and turn machine parts to dimensional specifications.
- Perform preventive maintenance procedures
- Assist production personnel on processing problems
- Assist maintenance in-charge with mechanical repairs
- Assist with the installation of new equipment
- Follow plant lock-out procedures during repair or servicing
- Report anything that is unsafe or hazardous to maintenance and Plant Manager immediately
- Other duties as assigned

WORK EXPERIENCE
- Two to three years of work experience in industrial maintenance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good rigging skills and forklift driving skills
- Language of work: Fluent written and verbal English
