The Position:
Position based in Nisku working Mon-Friday. With some out of town and project based work.
- Applicant will be operating out of a welding truck with field and shop work expected.
- Perform welding repairs to construction equipment. Following OEM repair procedures.
- Perform component repairs and overhauls such as Buckets, Rippers and Shears.
- Bore weld and line bore equipment and attachment's.
- Repair attachments and tooling. Build up and hard-facing.
- Fabricate various components such as equipment stands, transport brackets and steel structures.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics/drawings.
- Applicant must have the ability to be resourceful and able think outside of the box.
Requirements:
- Journeyman Welder with CWB certifications in stick and wire all positions.
- Minimum 5 years experience.
- Experience with line boring considered an asset but not a requirement.
- Experience with lancing considered an asset but not a requirement.
- Hold a clean class 5 drivers license and be willing to provide an abstract.
- Conduct yourself in a professional and safe manner that reflects the goals, expectations and image of Kiwi Wrench Ltd.
- Ability to lift and manage 50lbs without assistance.
- Complete pre employment drug and alcohol testing.
- Be able to work out of town in remote locations when required.
