Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate On call ECE or Early Childhood Teacher/IT to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to foster developmental growth through innovative teaching methods. This role involves working closely with children, families, and colleagues to support each child's individual needs and promote a positive classroom atmosphere.
Duties
- Supports in the calssroom Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and individual student needs.
- Supports Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and learning.
- Supports Monitor and assess children's developmental progress, providing feedback to parents and team members.
- Supports Incorporate bilingual instruction (English and French) to support language development for diverse learners.
- Supports Collaborate with special education staff to accommodate children with disabilities or special needs.
- Supports Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress reports, and other documentation required by licensing standards.
- Supports Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones.
- Supports Utilize computer skills for record keeping, lesson planning, and communication purposes.
- Supports Manage classroom routines efficiently, demonstrating strong organizational skills and time management.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting; classroom experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with excellent organizational abilities.
- Ability to operate basic computer applications relevant to classroom management and documentation.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with effective time management skills.
