Responsibilities
- Provide professional hair cutting, styling, trimming, and grooming services tailored to each client’s preferences.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized workspace in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Engage with clients through friendly communication to understand their needs and recommend suitable styles or products.
- Upsell retail products and styling services to enhance the client experience and boost sales.
- Manage front desk duties including appointment scheduling, check-ins, and payment processing.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are properly sanitized after each use to uphold sanitation standards.
- Build strong relationships with clients by delivering personalized service that encourages repeat visits.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a barber or stylist with a strong portfolio of hair styling skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills to connect with diverse clients.
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures for tools, equipment, and workspace maintenance.
- Ability to upsell retail products effectively while maintaining genuine client relationships.
- Strong organizational skills for managing appointments, front desk duties, and retail sales.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Valid barber or cosmetology license as required by local regulations.
