We are currently looking for an experienced 3rd or 4th year Apprentice Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair heavy haul trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment.
- Working with the supervisor on various tasks.
- Maintain detailed records and organization plans.
- Ensure repairs are carried out according to manufacturer’s procedures and in safe and responsible manner within the designated time-frame.
- Various related duties as required.
- Continually assess service task hazards and ensure work is performed safely and to accepted standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3rd year heavy duty mechanic.
- Experience with both on and off-road equipment.
- High degree of product and technical knowledge with strong diagnostics capabilities.
- Good communication skills both written and verbal.
- Dedication to safety.
- Basic hand tools required.
