A short distance from Iskut and Dease Lake, Our fly-in, fly-out site offers access from various points across British Columbia and Alberta. As Mobile Maintenance Superintendent, you will lead the safe, reliable, and cost-effective performance of Red Chris' mobile fleet. Your leadership will help maximize equipment availability, strengthen safety performance, develop high-performing teams, and support operational excellence as the mine advances toward its future underground block cave operation.

Lead and champion a strong safety culture across all mobile maintenance activities.

Oversee the maintenance and reliability of production, support, and light vehicle fleets.

Drive equipment availability and performance through preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies.

Lead, mentor, and develop supervisors, tradespeople, technicians, and contractor partners.

Collaborate with operations, planning, reliability, engineering, and supply chain teams to optimize fleet performance.

Manage departmental operating and capital budgets while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

Lead incident investigations, risk assessments, and corrective actions to maintain compliance and operational excellence.

Support change management initiatives and foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and innovation.

10+ years of mobile equipment maintenance experience in the mining industry.

Trade qualification as a Heavy Duty Mechanic and/or a degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.

Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing maintenance teams.

Strong technical knowledge of major mining fleets, including CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, and P&H equipment.

Experience with maintenance management systems such as SAP, Oracle, Pronto, or JDE.

Demonstrated success in safety leadership, risk management, and continuous improvement.

Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop diverse teams in a high-performance environment.

Strong planning, budgeting, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Fly-in, fly-out site-based position at Red Chris Mine in Northern British Columbia.

15 days on / 13 days off rotation.

The expected salary range for this role is CA$148,900 - 198,500 . This range is tied to the British Columbia market for jobs performed in British Columbia. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience.
