Siding Installer
Monarchy Build is seeking a dedicated and skilled Siding Installer to join our team. This role is essential for the construction of a building’s exterior, primarily focused on the installation of siding. The Siding Installer will ensure that materials are securely and accurately applied to the exterior walls of residential and commercial properties, using a variety of tools and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install siding on new buildings and repair damaged siding on existing properties using materials such as fibre cement, vinyl, aluminium, or wood.
- Ensure proper fitting of windows, doors, flashing, and gutters to protect buildings from water damage.
- Accurately measure and cut materials to ensure precise installation, minimizing waste.
- Install insulation and vapor barriers before applying siding.
- Use construction adhesives, hand tools, and power tools to perform installations and repairs.
- Classify and mark studs and joists to guarantee proper installation.
- Install roof vents and other protective elements to prevent water ingress.
- Perform additional related tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with hand tools and siding installation techniques.
- Strong carpentry skills and the ability to read blueprints.
- Experience with heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks.
- Previous handyman experience is a plus.
